Tubal Reversal

Tubal Reversal (Reanastomosis-reversing “tied tubes” in women) is now offered as an outpatient procedure at The Reproductive Medicine Group’s IVF/Surgery Center. We are able to streamline many of the steps involved in treating infertility within our center; thus saving costs to our patients, while providing services in a warm and nurturing environment. Patients are usually able to return home the day of surgery. Tubal reanastomosis (tubal ligation reversal) is a procedure that requires highly specialized microsurgical instruments, which are not available at most hospitals. The physicians of The Reproductive Medicine Group (RMG) utilize high-tech, state-of-the-art equipment at their facility. The Reproductive Medicine Group is able to offer the tubal reanastomosis procedure performed in their Surgery Center for the all-inclusive fee of $5,910. One cycle of in-vitro-fertilization (IVF) typically costs twice as much. Most insurance providers do not cover tubal reanastomosis surgeries. This $5,910 fee includes:

An initial consultation fee to meet with a physician and discuss your history as well as options and preliminary tests to assess ovarian/egg health and semen parameters may be recommended by the physician. Some patients will not be able to have their tubal reanastomosis performed on an outpatient basis due to other health problems, age, or prior medical history. If the tubal reanastomosis procedure cannot be performed at the time of surgery on at least one tube (due to inadequate tubal length or other technical problems) $2,500 will be refunded. The physicians of The Reproductive Medicine Group will be happy to meet with you to discuss your options for tubal reversal, procedure success rates and pregnancy rates, and required preliminary testing.
