Tubal Reversal, Tubal Reanastomosis

Tubal Reversal (tubal ligation reversal, tubal reanastomosis, reversing tied-tubes) is a highly successful out patient procedure offered at The Reproductive Medicine Group's IVF/Surgery Center. Our state-of-the-art facility is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Inc. (AAAHC) and staffed by board certified anesthesiologists, reproductive surgeons and experienced operating room and recovery room nurses and technicians. We have established a cutting edge facility with the highest level of technology for our subspecialties, while maintaining a warm and nurturing environment.

Tubal Reanastomosis is a procedure that requires highly specialized microsurgical instruments, which are not available at most hospitals. Our physicians have extensive experience in the microsurgical techniques necessary to perform successful tubal reanastomosis (tubal reversal) surgery. They have assisted thousands of infertile couples to become parents. When you seek care at The Reproductive Medicine Group, you place your trust in physicians with extensive skill, experience and a well-established record of success. They are board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists as well as subspecialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. They are members of the prestigious SREI (Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility) and the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology. The physicians of The Reproductive Medicine Group have consistently been recognized and named as Best Doctors in America.

The Reproductive Medicine Group is able to offer the tubal reanastomosis procedure performed in their Surgery Center for the all-inclusive fee of $5,098. One cycle of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) typically costs twice as much. Most insurance providers do not cover tubal reanastomosis surgeries. This $5,098 fee includes:

  • Facility fee
  • Anesthesia fee
  • Physician fee

Some patients will not be able to have their tubal reanastomosis performed on an outpatient basis due to other health problems, age, or prior medical history. If the tubal reanastomosis procedure cannot be performed at the time of surgery on at least one tube (due to inadequate tubal length or other technical problems) $2,500 will be refunded. The physicians of The Reproductive Medicine Group will be happy to meet with you to discuss your options for tubal reversal, procedure success rates and pregnancy rates, and required preliminary testing.
